After being injured in a bicycle accident at the age of 10, Dr. Pollard was left with chronic severe pain, and she couldn’t stand up for more than a few minutes at a time. She suffered for a decade with no answers and no relief. Finally, a friend recommended chiropractic care. Dr. Pollard had never heard of chiropractic, but she was willing to try anything.
Her chiropractor located the underlying cause of her pain—her pelvis was misaligned due to the bike accident—and it was corrected with chiropractic adjustments. Dr. Pollard’s results were life-changing, and she enthusiastically bombarded her chiropractor with questions every time she saw him.

Eventually, she knew she had to learn as much as possible so that she could help others get their lives back. She enrolled at Palmer College of Chiropractic and graduated cum laude with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1978.
Sharing Her Knowledge
Like most of her patients, Dr. Pollard grew up thinking that medicine was the answer for most types of health issues, from injuries to illness. After discovering that the human body is designed by God to be self-healing and self-regulating, and that the nervous system is the key to achieving optimal health, her life was changed—and she is passionate about changing her patients’ lives by educating them about health and wellness, so they can make informed decisions for themselves and their families.
Passionate About Her Community
Dr. Pollard practiced in Florida and Montana, before moving to Cincinnati to be closer to her family. After practicing in Batavia for 23 years, she moved Pollard Chiropractic Clinic to Summerside to better serve the Eastgate community.
